The Academic Program Translated into English

For English-speaking students of Islamic knowledge

three academic terms in one year

◼️ The program in English.

💡 Purpose of the Program:

To make the Islamic sciences accessible to non-Arab students who speak English, so that the student graduates having studied a collection of the Sharī‘ah sciences and passed through their main subjects. This serves as a key enabling him to continue expanding his path in seeking sacred knowledge.

📆 Duration of Study:

The study is divided into three academic terms:

  • The January term (1) until mid-May (5).
  • The June term (6) until mid-September (9).
  • The September term (9), ending in mid-December (12).

Each term lasts approximately three and a half months, noting that the schedule may vary depending on the beginning of the month of Ramaḍān.

Students who discontinue may return at the beginning of any term and continue from the level where they stopped.

⏰ Study Days and Sessions:

  • Classes are from Friday to Sunday (3 days per week).
  • Friday: Arabic language learning – Qur’ān memorization.

📚 Subjects:

  • Memorization of Juz’ ‘Amma in two parts (second and third terms). Students who already memorized Juz’ ‘Amma move on to Juz’ Tabārak.
  • Sharī‘ah sciences: creed (‘Aqīdah), ḥadīth, tafsīr, fiqh, sects, religions, da‘wah, prophetic biography (Sīrah), manners and ethics, family education.
